For the zine

This is to tell people a clever way of getting marmalade. Apologies to Lyall for blatantly ripping off his cryptid borders. Unsure as to whether this is finished or not.

unrelated to Sleetgerbil

...but never mind. Thought I should make an appearance!

This is years and years old but I still kind of like it. I may adopt it as an avatar or something, yay. There's totally a resemblance, if you disregard my monster calf muscles.

About the story: I can't seem to write anything that isn't a) whimsical to the point of children's story b) about animals/people with animal bits on them/inanimate objects that want to be animals

i suck?!?!

Thoughts

Hmm...had a bit of a rethink. I'm not sure if I like the rigid, list-style news page layout after all! I'm currently doing some scribbles and attempting to make something a bit more interesting/inspiring, and hopefully keeping it simple (and possible to actually make) at the same time. I'll get back to you if I succeed...

A Very Basic Website Layout

Made this very quickly in Word, just to get a feel for a possible website layout. Obviously the final thing will be MUCH prettier/more colourful/texturified (I'm thinking maybe a layered paper/ripped edges look?). And the fonts are placeholders (although I kind of like the typewriter style). So yeah, this is only one possible basic layout. I'll carry on and hopefully come up with some other ideas...

Web Hosting

Ok, I've found out a bit about web hosting. The site is http://www.streamline.net/ and it seems like really good value.

For unlimited webspace and a free domain name (sleetgerbil.com!) it's £44.99 for a year, or £67.98 for two years (so that's probably the better deal - works out as only £33.99 PA). Also, there's a 3 month free trial as well.

Take a look and see what you think! http://www.streamline.net/uu.php <--- (details of Unlimited package). Alternatively there's a cheaper option with 750mb of webspace, but as I have no idea how much we're going to need, it may be better not to restrict ourselves.

Also, liking the logo Ben! Although, not sure about the colour, maybe just leave it black for now? And maybe make the lines a bit cleaner....I don't know. Pretty nifty though. Good job old boy.
